Courses in Legal German

German courses for legal practitioners: Methodology

Using legal texts, legal judgements or documents selected together with the course participants, particular features of the legal language such as nominalisation and function verb constructions will be intensively handled and discussed and the distinct semantic meanings of key terms will be placed in a legal context.

Where necessary, general grammatical structures will be taught in an intensive, easily understandable manner using suitable exercises.

German courses for legal practitioners: Guidelines

I place a particular value on varied teaching methods, strong interaction with students and a relaxed learning atmosphere.

My courses involve a lot of communication; oral expression is continually optimised in an easy and effective manner.

The drafting of legal documents is regularly practised and discussed.
